​Hi, I’m photographer and nature writer William Wise. I was saved under a campus ministry while studying wildlife biology at the University of Georgia.  My love of the outdoors quickly turned into a love for the Creator and His works. I’m currently an animal shelter manager and live in Athens, Georgia with my wife and two teenage daughters. The Animal Shelter Photography...

One mission of my daily photography is to find new homes for dogs and cats in the Walton County Animal Control, Georgia, shelter via the website, waltonpets.net.  My second mission is to convince other government run shelters that they can do the same. By taking some initiative and implementing some basic photography tips, they too can greatly increase the live-release rate of their shelter. 

The Nature, BIRDING AND WILDLIFE Photography...

My photography has its roots in my passion for animals, wildlife, and nature. My nature photography is a hobby that I share with my daughter and also provides some much needed stress relief in my life by adventuring in the outdoors.  The main mission of my nature photography is to document the beauty of God's creation and allow it to speak as an evangelist for the existence of God the Creator, Jesus Christ. 

The Writing and Speaking...

In addition to photography, I have been able to find expression of that passion through writing and public speaking with invitations to school classrooms, church groups, neighborhood associations and animal shelter conferences.
