FIRST DAYS OF DIGITAL: 2008 TO 2011

I purchased my first digital camera in November 2007; a Nikon D80. But from 2006 to 2009 my family and I were starting a church in Yorktown, Virginia. Working full time and pastoring a startup church didn't leave much time for outdoor adventures and wildlife photography. Most of my shooting during this period was family photos but there was the occasional wildlife or nature shot. The photography pace began to pick up September 2011 when I upgraded to the Nikon D7000.
