For many years my parents lived in Driftwood, Texas in the Hill Country Trail Region between Austin and San Antonio. Their property sat on acres of former ranch land turned residential. At the entrance to their neighborhood, LaVentana, there is a working Longhorn ranch with several Longhorns pastured.  ​Sunset photography of these longhorns was a favorite of mine, the orange setting set causing their gorgeous coat and horns to radiate.

Here in the United States, college football is huge! Every Saturday from August to November, hundreds of thousands of people make pilgrimages to their alma maters to pay reverence to their beloved schools. And each one of those games gets media coverage... and media coverage needs stock photos! Some of my best selling stock photos are of longhorn bulls. I suspect Bevo and the University of Texas Longhorns have something to do with that!
