"Fancy" was a pretty red Chow mix that was picked up stray by an animal control officer on September 20, 2021. No owner came looking for her and she was rescued by Pound Puppies N Kittens Rescue on September 23, 2021.

Invasive species photographed in Walton County, Georgia USA. Last year, I found one pair of Joro Spiders, an invasive species, in my backyard in Athens-Clarke County, Georgia. This summer they exploded. I found hundreds along my long-run path on Saturday mornings, all around our home and church. Today, I found my first near my office in Walton County, Georgia. I made a morning trip to Phinizy Swamp Nature Center in Richmond County for some birding and wildlife photography. I knew it would be unbearably hot and humid, but I couldn't resist a short drive to Augusta to get away.
