Moose was a sweet American Bulldog that was surrendered by his owner to the animal shelter on October 22, 2019. He was finally rescued on Halloween by Second Chance Habitat Rescue! Carver was a stray shepherd mixed breed dog picked up by an animal control officer on October 24, 2019. He wasn't well socialized and not good on the leash, which made his photo session a bit difficult. But thankfully he was rescued by Second Chance Habitat on October 31, 2019. His rescue was sponsored by pledged donations to the rescue from Nancy, Dana, Jason, and Anne.
Pazley was an unique looking merle Catahoula and Heeler mix breed dog that was surrendered to the animal shelter by her owner on October 28, 2019. She was adopted three days later!
Diesel was surrendered to the animal shelter by his owner on October 15, 2019. He was an energetic and silly boy. He was rescued on October 29, 2019 by Washington-Wilkes DAWGS Rescue! He was sponsored by pledged donations to the rescue from Eileen, Nancy, Lorraine, Becky and Anne. Bizkit was surrendered to the animal shelter by his owner on October 25, 2019. He was rescued by Washington Wilkes DAWGS Rescue four days later!

“Ruby” was a super-sweet Boxer mix that was impounded by an animal control officer on October 7, 2019. A notice was left with the owner’s, but they came in and surrendered her to the shelter. She got her outdoor dog rescue photo session on October 16, 2019 and the push was made to find her a new home.
On October 21, Amanda came to the shelter to adopt this sweetheart and give her a new home. Over the next few weeks, Ruby’s new pet-mom sent several updates: Hey, just wanted to let you guys know how our Rube is doing :) She’s settling in. Her and my lab are doing great. I haven’t introduced her to my other dog yet. They see each other through a window and can sense each other’s energy and start whining. I know everyone will get along with time. Slow and steady wins the race. I’ve attached some pictures of her.
Otis was turned in stray to the animal shelter on October 13, 2019. He was a lot of fun to photograph! He did the cutest back-and-forth head tilting as I made panting noises to attact his attention. (Watch the video!) Just after taking his adoption photos, his owner called the shelter looking for him and he was reunited on October 18, 2019.
Cider was turned in stray to the animal shelter on October 14, 2019. This happy, young American Bulldog mix was always wagging his tail! He was rescued by Second Chance Habitat on October 19, 2019! His rescue was sponsored by a donation from Becky!
Price was picked up stray by an animal control officer on October 14, 2019. This handsome blue-nosed American Pitbull Terrier was reunited with his owner on October 17, 2019!
Cobain was a senior Siberian Husky dog surrendered by his owner to the animal shelter on October 14, 2019. Even though he was 11-years-old, this handsome boy had no trouble getting re-homed and was adopted two days after intake!
Ryder was a cute little Foxhound and Coonhound mixed breed dog that was surrendered to the animal shelter by his owner on October 10, 2019. He had is dog rescue photo session on October 15 and was rescued by Paws Onward, Inc. the following day! His rescue was sponsored by pledges from Eileen, Anne and Jason.
